The youth group of Red Rocks Baptist Church is committed to the following three resolutions:

1. To be conformed into the image of Christ through regular exposure to the Word of God.
2. To support my fellow believers as they pursue godliness. 
3. To proclaim the sight-giving truth of the Gospel to the spiritually blind. 

As Christians, teens should be experiencing consistent spiritual growth. While this does not mean that they are perfect, it does mean that they are continually being conformed into the image of Christ. This happens mainly through regular personal Bible study and prayer, as well as from hearing sound Bible teaching. We do not promote a checklist mentality in which teens read their Bibles in order to check off spiritual duties throughout the week. Rather, we promote a hunger for the Word of God which causes teens to enjoy communing with Jesus Christ as they read the written Word.

Bible Study Fellowship Groups
Our teens meet for Sunday School each Sunday morning at 9:30 in the youth room. We have classes for the guys and girls, and currently are studying through the book of Proverbs. This study is particularly appropriate for teenagers as they learn how to make personal decisions based on God's revealed wisdom.

Youth Activities
There is definitely a place for fun in the RESOLVED youth group. We strive to have at least one fun activity each month, and sometimes we will even have two or three. Some examples include laser tag, gym nights, rock climbing, paint ball, camping, and hiking, among others. We also believe in the effectiveness of Christian camp, and will strive to take our teens to camp on a regular basis. We are also planning camping and hiking trips in the mountains, and teen missions trips for dedicated teens. A yearly calendar with the dates and times of our activities is provided upon request.

Wednesday Night Youth Group
Every Wednesday night, the youth group meets from 7-8:15  in the music room. We play a game together, enjoy some fellowship, and Pastor Ben delivers a message from God's Word. We just finished our series on the book of Ephesians, and are beginning a dynamic study on the Gospel of John entitled "Life with Jesus."

Faith and Focus
Faith and Focus is our community outreach program.  It gives teens the opportunity to put into practice the spiritual lessons they learn here on a regular basis. Currently, the core of this program is ministering to the folks at Bear Creek Nursing Home in Morrison. We provide beautiful music, minister through a brief gospel message, and spend time chatting with those dear people. On the fourth Wednesday of each month we go out canvassing in our community.

A Message from the Youth Pastor
Thank you for taking the time to visit our youth group! I sincerely hope that you have found our young people to be committed to loving the Lord Jesus Christ, the Word of God, and those they meet each day. Please take a moment to consider whether or not the Lord is leading you to be a part of our youth group. RESOLVED youth group is looking to minister to and fellowship with other teenagers who have a similar hunger for spiritual things and who desire godly fellowship in their lives. That could be you!
